The one-story lake-washed cobblestone house at the rear of a later period frame house stood at the southwest corner of Routes 318 (Old State Road) and 414; both are now demolished. For years the frame house was the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Strong. The cobblestone house was built by a man named Goodwin. A Byrne Dairy store is now on the site. Richard Palmer blog.
